Terms of Service

Thank you for using Bedroom Producer! We build this app to help you train your ears and become a better music producer. These Terms of Service help keep things running smoothly.

When we say "Company", "we", "our", or "us" in this document, we are referring to Bedroom Producer. When we say "Services", we mean the Bedroom Producer website and application at bedroomproducer.io. When we say "You" or "your", we are referring to you, the person using our Services.

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our Services.

Account Terms

  1. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to keep your account secure.
  2. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  3. You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods are not permitted.
  4. You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services.

Payment and Subscriptions

  1. We offer free and paid tiers. The free version is really free - we don't sell your data.
  2. For paid subscriptions, you will be charged in advance on a monthly recurring basis.
  3. All fees are exclusive of taxes. Where required, we will collect taxes on behalf of the taxing authority.
  4. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  5. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you deserve a refund due to exceptional circumstances, contact us at hello@bedroomproducer.io.

Cancellation and Termination

  1. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
  2. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  3. If you want to delete your account entirely, contact us at hello@bedroomproducer.io. Your data will be deleted within 60 days.
  4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
  • Scrape, crawl, or spider any part of the Services without permission
  • Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Abuse or harass other users or our support team

Intellectual Property

  1. The Services, including all audio samples, visual designs, and code, are owned by Bedroom Producer or our licensors.
  2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Services without our express written permission.
  3. Your practice data and progress remain yours. We claim no ownership over your usage data.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Service Availability

  1. We strive to keep the Services available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  2. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
  3. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may notify you via email.
